Royal LePage Shelter Foundation

We are proud supporters of the Royal LePage Shelter Foundation benefiting Women and Children escaping violence. Royal LePage is the only Canadian real estate company with its own charitable foundation and is Canada’s largest public foundation dedicated exclusively to funding women’s shelters and violence prevention programs; another reason why we love what we do!

We support the Shelter Foundation through commission donations from every sale we do and other fundraising events through the year. With our local charity designated as the Red Door Shelter.

For the last 13 years, one of our biggest fundraising events is the Garage Sale for Shelter, over the years, BonsellHomes and now LTHome, has raised over $30,000!

New for 2025, PROM FOR SHELTER raised an incredible $6,825!!

Every dollar raised goes directly to helping the more than 50,000 women and children who are served each year by the shelters and support programs we fund. Since 1998, the Shelter Foundation has raised more than $46 million and currently supports 200 local women’s shelters and national partners.

Together, we can create a world where women and children are safe and given all the opportunitIes they deserve!

Prom for Shelter!

Our new fundraising event for 2025 was the PROM FOR SHELTER! A community event, with a little nostalgia and an opportunity to dress up and dance the night away! There was amazing music and dancing, photo opportunities, a silent auction, some food and drinks - a truly rip roaring good time was had by all!

It was a huge success and we were absolutely THRILLED to announce the incredible FINAL TOTAL, $6,825!!! 100% of these funds raised will go to the Red Door Family Shelter, via the Royal LePage Shelter Foundation.

We want to say a HUGE, heartfelt THANK YOU to all our sponsors, supporters, volunteers & to EVERYONE that got dressed up & came along to party - it was a truly EPIC event & we are absolutely thrilled that we were able to raise this amount, to support the Red Door Shelter & the very important work they do. THANK YOU!!

Night Light Walk

Stories and Starlight: A night under the stars to walk and talk about domestic violence.

Our voices can make a difference. Now more than ever, we need to come together in our communities to raise funds and awareness that helps women rebuild their lives.

Join us for the walk, on the evening of October 24th, we will be meeting in Kew Gardens at 6:15pm before starting our the 3km walk around the Neighbourhood, as we shed light and raise awareness.

With your support, we can provide urgently needed resources and hope to women and children experiencing domestic violence. All proceeds will be directed to local shelters, so you will be making a real difference.

Let's raise awareness and light the way forward for so many women and children who are ready to take their first brave steps away from violence.

Evangeline Walks

Meet Evangeline, a girl walking a long way to try and make a big difference!

What does she do?  Since the age of 10, on Thanksgiving Weekends, she has walked from Binbrook (just past Hamilton) to Toronto. That is 100km over 3.5 days!

This is not an organized fundraiser, this is a girl, with a big heart, walking a long way to make a difference in the lives of at risk youth!

She has raised over $35,000 for Covenant House Toronto since 2022!

Covenant House Toronto at risk, trafficked and homeless youth. It's a place where kids can receive life-saving support and the unconditional love and respect they deserve.

Terry Fox Walk/Run

#finishit is the message for the 2025 Terry Fox Run.

Once again, Lainey and Lola will be lacing up their sneakers and taking part in The Beaches Terry Fox Run.

‘We Are Shaped by the Obstacles We Face’, is the title for the new Legacy Art Project installation that was opened on Queen’s Quay in October 2023. It is a ‘public space dedicated to the spirit of courage, determination, and action that Terry Fox embodied...throughout the Marathon of Hope in 1980’.

Please consider a donation as Lainey & Lola walk, jog, run in an effort to continue the fight against cancer. Thank you in advance for your support!
